Tomasz Koryzma is an attorney-at-law and a partner heading the IP/TMC team at CMS Poland and CMS CEE IP practice group and CEE AI campaign. He has over 20 years of professional experience, which he gained in leading international law firms. His area of expertise covers new technologies law, intellectual property rights and data protection, as well as electronic trade and media.

He regularly works on IT-related contracts and disputes and cross-border data protection projects. As a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, he advises on data protection projects since 1998. He is also a member of the Data Protection Committee at the International Trademark Association.

His experience covers full range of both strategic and day-to-day advice provided to key players from technology, consumer products, and financial sectors. This includes GDPR related advice, compliance audits, data breach incidents, intra-group data sharing, profiling and negotiating data protection codes of conduits with the Polish Data Protection Authority.

Since 1998 Tomasz Koryzma has specialised in IT consultancy, managing the implementation of IT systems and outsourcing solutions projects. He advises both service providers as well as end users, by negotiating agreements concerning services, maintenance, implementation and licensing for IT solutions.
