Pierre­Dimitri is originally from Paris, and studied Engineering at Ecole Centrale and Columbia University. Pierre started his career at Goldman Sachs in London, on the firm's proprietary trading desk which he left in 2010 to start a hedge fund. Passionate about the tech industry and convinced about the need to bring better transportation options to people, Pierre decided to join Uber in September 2012. He currently oversees Uber's European, Middle East and African operations.
