Water Sense is an innovative project aimed at transforming water quality monitoring through a comprehensive system tailored for inland environments. It delivers real-time alerts on ecosystem threats and forecasts potential environmental impacts, enabling timely, informed actions to prevent ecological disasters. The system features energy-autonomous Water Stations, advanced Water Sensors with biofilm growth prevention, the AI-driven Water Cloud platform, predictive AI Water Forecast algorithms, and web-based Water Map (www.watermap.pl) providing public access to water quality data. The project is led by Filip Budny, a Forbes 30u30 laureate, PhD student at Warsaw University of Technology, and CEO of MAGLY, alongside Patryk Pijanowski, CEO of NEBUCODE. It is co-financed by the Hydrostrateg 2 Program through the Polish National Centre for R&D and is carried out in collaboration with the CEZAMAT WUT and the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management.
