ABOUT THE COMPETITION

Join a competition promoting start-ups with a real economic impact.

Become EEC Startup Challenge Winner and present your project to business leaders, investors and decision-makers at the European Economic Congress in Katowice.

With its new formula, EEC Startup Challenge is a space for innovative solutions that are not only inspirational but above all build value, increase efficiency and are scalable. We are looking for startups that address the needs of the market and have the potential to boost economic development.

The mission of the competition has not changed, as it still aims to connect creators of innovative solutions with those who seek technologies, partnerships, and investment opportunities. This edition, however, will emphasize the practicality of innovation and its economic viability.

4X4 formula – quality and scale

16 startups will qualify for the finals, with 4 best projects nominated in each of the 4 categories. The finalists will then present their solutions to the jury and audience of the European Economic Congress in Katowice – the largest forum for business debate in Central Europe.

Apart from competing for the prize, the participants are offered the opportunity to:

  • present their project to a wide audience of decision-makers and investors,
  • verify the business potential of their idea,
  • establish strategic partnerships,
  • be part of a community that determines the development of the economy.
